Viral Connecting Part 1

VIRUS

It’s been a couple months since the Covid19 Virus went viral & everyone was ordered to Shelter In Place here in Oregon State, USA. We thought we’d travel through time and talkie-talk about what our lives look like these days.

IS THIS REAL LIFE?

It feels like a good time to quote the YouTube video ‘David After Dentist’ when David said, “Is this real life?” and “Is it always gonna be like this?” 

Amanda has been working from home. Adam works at a retailer that is considered essential. We live about 45 minutes away from each other and have taken precaution since Adam is exposed to the public on a regular basis. We haven’t hung out since the world went into a downward spiral.

EASTER

In the last two months we’ve only seen each other once in person on Easter. On that day we also celebrated our 21 month dating anniversary and exchanged gifts. Amanda’s parents saved some yummy Easter dinner for Adam, which he took home in some nifty to-go containers.

Adam stayed outside his car and chatted with Amanda for about an hour while she was at her garage about 12 feet away. Both of us wore pink. It was not coordinated. This isn’t the first time we’ve dressed in matching clothes. We must have some kinda connection or something. No?

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

Both of us have been on zero hikes. since mid-March. But we’ve found several ways to stay connected during these crazy times. Next week we’ll talk about how we’ve stayed connected. Until then… Stay safe & stay fabulous!
