Tulip Fest
A landscaped color pallet of blooming madness!
Every Spring there’s something more colorful than the brightest rainbow! A landscaped color pallet spreading across the ground filled with perfect blooming color-amazeness! The Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival in Woodburn, OR will make your mind explode from it’s sheer beauty! #micdrop #walkaway
In the Spring of 2019 Amanda whisked Adam off on an adventure to the Tulip Fest for his first time. “It wasn’t just one field. It just kept going as far as the eye could see!” The creators of this flower festival go ALL OUT! Several vendors have all the tasty foods in food carts and tent areas. There’s a cute little windmill perfect for selfies. Oh and a few ‘big’ tractors for kids to climb on.
We discovered that a few of Adam’s newly acquainted work friends were at the tulip fest at the same time. They had originally met Adam in New York for a few week work thingy-thing. At the Tulip Fest Kaitie and Steven were about 20 steps away when Adam messaged them that we were in the area. Say what?!!! After we discovered we were all there at the same time, they walked over to say hi & meet Amanda. After hanging for a little bit they wandered off to capture some sweet photos and memories.
Did we mention... We. Brought. Our. Unicorns?!!! ...obviously! We unleashed them and let them frolic and play in the tulip fields. Far to the back left of the landscape several people were flying huge kites. They filled the sky with beautiful colors and one was a magnificent whale kite. It was slowly swimming across the blue sky
At one point Amanda discretely snapped a picture of an artist painting the beautiful tulip fields. After posting it online, one of Adam’s friends Christie commented, ‘That’s my mom lol’. Such a small world to have multiple unexpected connections to our friends at that moment while at the tulip festival.
Amanda worked her photography magic. She knows what’s up when it comes to snatching beautiful pictures. She captured wonderful glimpses of the sun peeking from behind tulip petals & the unicorns dancing and playing near several puddles. Those reflections were ridiculous! Also, the unicorns couldn’t help but get rowdy on one of the ‘large’ tractors. They had SO MUCH FUN!!! It was ridiculous!
At some point we grabbed food and hit up the gift shop. They had plenty of fun gift ideas. It was an epic day to remember!
